Lest We Forget

A good crowd gathered at the Rutland Cenotaph this morning, despite the drizzle, to pay tribute to those who have served or are serving their country at war.

This was the first year the whole Pear Tree clan took in the service, and it’s something I plan to make an annual tradition. I want my kids to know and appreciate the men and women who have sacrificed so much.

I could go on and on, but instead I invite you to take in some scenes from the service and a moment to ponder.

… Lest we forget.
