Hello Monday, so glad you’re back again!

Hello Maisy – our pet Westie has been feeling excluded because she hasn’t had any photos up since she was a new puppy. So today she got a place the prominence.

Hello to my favourite rubber boots – I just love sloshing around in these wardrobe staples come autumn and spring.

Hello to new rain boots for the kids, too. It took me a few weeks to find these two pairs (above, right) for Oliver and Amélie, purchased  at two different stores a week apart. Who knew they were so rare at this time of year?

Hello autumn themed decorations… What? No jack-o-lanterns, cobwebs or candy? We’re bucking the trend this Halloween and focusing on things that are positive, healthy, beautiful and inspiring rather than the usual death and violence and decay.

By the way, if you’ve been following Mr. Pear Tree’s 100 for 100 painting project, that white gourd (above, right) might look familiar!
