Hello Again

Hello again Monday and hello to a new week, a new cycle beginning and a new post looking forward to what is in store…

Here are a few other things I’m saying ‘Hello!’ to this week…

Hello knitting in the round – I just picked up on this technique and it’s opened up a whole new world of possibilities, and fun…

It really is addicting – and I never expected I would say that about knitting…

Hello new knitting project, too – I’d tell you what I’m working on but it’s a Christmas present and the recipient may or may not be reading this!

Hello taking time to hunker down more now that the weather outside is less, shall we say, welcoming…

Hello to Archie and Hector and Molly and Golly and Duncan – we’ve been a bit obsessed with the British television series Monarch of the Glen lately (but only the first three seasons, and then I refuse to watch anymore). Have you seen it? What do you think?

Hello hot cocoa. I went off this favourite cold-weather drink a few years ago and have hardly touched it but it seems my taste for it is back! I even chose a cup of it to warm my body and soul while writing this instead of a coffee, if you can believe that – quelle suprise!

Hello to YOU, and hello ‘Hello Monday’ link up party…

I’d love to know what you’re saying hello to this week…

  1. I’m saying hello to that lovely little tree on the greenway. I don’t usually walk there so when I do, I’ve forgotten about it and it gives me such a joyful suprise when I see it. It’s on my blog today.

  2. Ahh, knitting with double pointed needles…it always makes me feel so accomplished. Although there are other ways to knit in the round I much prefer the dpns and I love the feeling of continuity – that this is the way women have been knitting mittens, socks, hats, sweater sleeves, for generations.

That is gorgeous wool by the way. Make sure you post pictures of the finished object (after Christmas of course).

  3. Loving all the beautiful browns and plum hues in your photography. Making me feel warm and cozy!
