The View From Here: Window on Alberta

A frequent commenter on The Pear Tree site, Elaine Phillips recently sent us these snapshots of her office in Cochrane, Alberta (near Calgary), where she usually reads TPT and writes to us from.

Originally from South Africa, Elaine moved to Canada about a dozen years ago and apparently loves the snowy winters.

The evergreen tree glimpsed through the window is often filled with birds – when it’s not laden with snow, Elaine related.

Like many of us, Elaine is a fan of old-fashioned paper letters, and keeps a blog called Correspondance Corner. She also writes this one, under her own name, as well as a couple others that can be linked through those sites.

Now it’s your turn. What is the view from where YOU are reading right now. Send us a picture or two of your view – at least one must be horizontal, please – and we’ll post it, along with a little blurb about you and (if you have one) your website or blog.

Send your photo and a brief description to lori(dot)anne(at)thepeartree(dot)ca.
