Summer Simplicity

summer cover

One of the best parts of summer is its simplicity. From light, unencumbering clothing to fresh food picked from the garden and packed with flavour, there is so much to embrace about this season.

This month at The Pear Tree we plan to explore some of these easy delights and would love for you to join us.

In the mean time, here are some of the things we’ve been gobbling up about summer:

Home made ice cream in chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.

Afternoons exploring at the beach.

Iced tea on the patio – preferably with a friend or two.

Bluberry pie and peach crisp.

Picnics with a view.

Capri pants and pony tails.

Alright, what are you loving about summer?

Oh, and after you tell us, click on our sponsors for this month, over to the far right: Public Bone has amazing jewellery handcrafted from animal bone and shed antlers, and Early Music Society offers light, airy music downloads that are a perfect listen for a summer day.

The thing I like best about summer is being able to travel light. Just a bathing suit, a beach towel, some sun block, and a magazine thrown in a tote and you’re ready to go! Life doesn’t get any simpler than that.
